D5000 / D5000 SD

A flat style emitter which enables the tube to be rolled flat. Outstanding clogging resistance! Flow regulation (PC) comes as standard and slow drain is also available

PC, PCND, SD…Please Explain!

PC

Stands for: Pressure Compensating
Also known as: Flow regulation
What does it do: Within a relatively large pressure range, ensures the same flow per dripper regardless of what the pressure is at that point of the tube. So the dripper at lower elevation will emit the same amount of water as the dripper at the highest point
Where to use: Undulating ground and long-run lengths

PCND

Stands for: Pressure Compensating & No-Drain
Also known as: CNL
What does it do: In addition to pressure compensating, the dripper seals when pressure falls below a specified limit to stop water draining out of the tube at shut-off
Where to use: Pulse irrigation, sub-surface and highly undulating ground

SD

Stands for: Slow-drain
Also known as: AS (Anti-siphon)
What does it do: This dripper limits suck-back at shut-off to help prevent particle ingestion back into the dripper
Where to use: Pulse irrigation, sub-surface and where there is high risk of particle ingestion at system shut-off
